Paramore made their not-so-triumphant return back in January with drab lead single, “Now.” In the wake of “Now” under-performing, the band released the second single from their upcoming self-titled album to YouTube this morning called, “Still Into You.” And it’s a vast improvement.
” ‘Cause after all this time, I’m into you. I should be over all the butterflies, but I’m into you,” Hayley Williams sings over the track’s new wave influenced instrumental. Her bratty delivery during the verses can get a little grating, but the chorus is so catchy and sweet, it can be forgiven. It’s not “Misery Business” or “That’s What You Get,” but it’s a step in the right direction.
What do you think, will radio embrace Paramore’s pop rock sound?
